REVEALED tours with Daniel Rona goes beyond the windows of a bus.
It is a trip into the heart of what the Savior taught and seeing the places where the Savior walked in the new promised
land. As modern Nephites and Lamanites reflect the Book of Mormon scenes and teachings, the tour is intertwined with humanitarian service which consists of visiting the poor, sick and disabled in nearby villages. Following worship with local Saints on Sunday, there are opportunities to meet families
-- becoming messengers of good news -- delivering items like wheelchairs, used hearing aids, baby blankets and vitamins, etc. These are things that we have brought along that Paco, our local LDS guide has arranged for us to distribute.
SELF SUFFICIENCY IN A
JUNGLE VILLAGE
Paco has taught the locals to make equipment such as a wooden cart for a legless shoemaker. In a previous tour we had the privilege to deliver the cart to him. Now he hand-pedals down the street in his town. His neighbors are excited to see that the shoemaker is out and about, able to do business with his customers at their homes. This simple act of humanitarian service has sparked a spirit of enthusiasm and industry in a "jungle village."
