TABA - PETRA - JERUSALEM 

You will depart early morning from the hotel in Taba, via Israel, for Petra. Begin experiencing an adventure much like the recent movie, "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade," where Indiana (Harrison Ford) discovers the coveted Holy Grail. It was filmed on location at Petra, helping to make it Jordan's most popular tourist attraction. Discover the "Rose-Red City half as old as time," carved out of stone more than 2,000 years ago. Hidden in the craggy mountains, we can reach it by horseback and by walking through a narrow defile or "sik" flanked by towering cliffs. The sudden view of Petra's most spectacular monument, the Khazneh or Treasury, is dramatic. Other monuments carved right into the multicolored-mountains are spread throughout the area. Returning northward and then westward, you will travel through the awe-inspiring Mountains of Moab, viewing the Dead Sea and Judean Hills. After crossing the Jordan River at the Allenby Bridge you will continue westward for a short drive 'up to Jerusalem', reaching the Deluxe Jerusalem Hyatt Regency Hotel or the Superior Mt. Zion Hotel for your Holy Land experience (or similar class hotel).
