Brother Rona shares little-known insights of the Savior and his relationship with the people of Judah and Joseph. Many people can’t visit the Holy Land, so we have brought Brother Rona to you to share his Jewish–Israeli insights, to help you increase your appreciation and understanding of the Savior’s life, love and the land where He lived. We suggest you invite friends to this event so they too can enjoy the knowledge, warmth and humor of the highlights of a Passover meal. Daniel will use a live video feed from Jerusalem, help you see the Passover symbols in the scriptures that point to Savior’s deliverance in the past, meridian of times, and the future. Imagine seeing for yourself the scriptural patterns that reveal more of the Savior’s role in discovering your own purpose of life.
Daniel Rona is Director of the Ensign Foundation, assisting the people of Israel to restore their identity. He’s the first (his son Steven is the second) LDS licensed Tour Guide in Israel for more than 50 years, and the author of 6 books and TV movies about the people and their religions in Israel. He and his late wife, Marilyn, have five children and eight grandchildren and since 2013, began a Senior mission in the Church History Department in Salt Lake City. Their assignment is writing the LDS histories of countries (like Israel) where the Church is established. Sister Rona was Israel’s Church historian for 20-years.
